2013 Virtual Tour of the Duck Creek Renovation
As the Waterfowl Season Opener for the Middle Zone approaches this might be the first time in a year that you’ve checked back in to see what is going on at Duck Creek. Or perhaps you’ve never been to the area and are just curious. Whatever the reason may be, we’ve put together a virtual tour for you to see what is on the ground, where it is, and why.
This tour takes you through our timbered impoundments, Pools 2 and 3 along with Mingo’s Pool 8, across the water storage reservoir of Pool 1, and through the renovated open marsh of Units A and B. Through the tour we will showcase:
- Some of the different habitat features at Duck Creek
- The fish and wildlife that utilize these wetlands throughout the year
- Management activities necessary to provide the right habitat conditions
- A few ideas on how you can enjoy these resources this fall and in the future
I hope you enjoy the virtual tour and hopefully it will inspire you to get your things together, come on down, and use the area. That is why it is here. Thanks again for your support.
