Nature at Night
Summer is a great time to explore the outdoors at night. No school the next day, warm nights and lots of stuff to see. A little bug spray, a flashlight and some red cellophane and you’re ready to go! Twin Pines Conservation Education Center recently held an Elk Camp where visitors explored the grounds at night, went on a hunt for the mythical Karkhagne beast and held its first kids’ elk-calling contest. Billy Bob Scott of Marshall put a lot of enthusiasm behind his winning call.
