How to Reprint a Permit

Have you lost your permit? Want an extra copy to keep in your tackle box or in your hunting vest? You can reprint any hunting or fishing permit you’ve bought online in the past six months at no charge. (This is only available for permits bought online through the e-Permits system.)

Here’s how to print another copy of your permit

Step 1.

Go back to the online permits site and begin as if you’re going to buy a permit. Enter your conservation ID number or Social Security number or driver’s license number (only one of those three) along with your birth date and click “continue.”

Step 2.

At the next page you’ll see your name and personal information displayed. On the left side of that page you’ll see a link to the permit number you bought earlier. Click on that link, and it will open up the image file, which you can then print or save to print later. You’ll be able to go back and reprint this permit for up to six months.

Be sure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader

Printing requires a basic version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is standard on most computers. If you don’t have this program on your computer there is a link on the page at step 1 above where you can download it.
